Media Analyst, Senior (2025-0020)

We are actively hiring a Media Analyst, Senior with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Intelligence Division working in Northern Virginia. The Consultant will be responsible for finding unique ways to leverage open source and proprietary data for operational support and our customer's program evaluation activities. This is a multi-year project with growing potential, in which the Consultant will have the opportunity to demonstrate intellectual agility by exploring and leading cutting-edge data research design, data collection, and data analysis for a client in the US Intelligence Community, all centered around media analysis.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE
- TS/SCI with poly required
- Working with regular expressions and developing solutions with Python, Linux basics, Sigma, ION, Analyst Notebook, Data Manipulation, and basic Social Network Analysis
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) in one or more of the following: text preprocessing and cleaning for downstream NLP tasks, information extraction, Named Entity Recognition (NER), identity matching, text normalization, automatic summarization, NLP evaluation, machine translation, machine transliteration, document exploitation pipelines, multilingual computing, ontology management, or computational lexicography
- Experience in:
- Maintaining and managing a custom language model
- Leading qualitative research and program evaluation activities
- Developing presentations and provide briefings to middle and senior management
- Delivering visual representation of data using charts and graphs
- Analyzing information and identifying implications for policy, processes, communications and training on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Familiarity with Measures of Performance and Measures of Effectiveness (MOP/E)
