We are seeking a Technical Targeting Officer. The Officer will use technical operations and development activities to maximize collection abilities. This position requires strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with personal initiative and technical expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct media exploitation and forensic targeting
Identify leads from technical information and generate lead packages
Research and brief on current and long-term projects/initiatives
Exploit key data to inform intelligence operations
Identify and assess vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection to answer intelligence questions
This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. All positions require possession of a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Level 1: requires 1 year of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degreeLevel 2: requires 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
Level 3: requires 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
Level 4: requires 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
Level 5: requires 20 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
*5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree*
REQUIRED EDUCATION & DESIRED EXPERIENCE
All positions require possession of a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates who do not possess this clearance will be disqualified.
Years of specialized experience will determine level
Strong experience with Customer’s tools and report-writing methods
Regional or topic-based subject matter expertise
Experience with forensic analysis and media exploitation (*forensic experience not required but desired)
Strong inter- and intrapersonal skills, able to communicate details clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Experience in HUMINT sources and collections
Ability to succeed in often ambiguous, fast-paced, environments with limited supervision and competing priorities
- Self-starter with strong critical thinking/analytical skills, including ability to process large amounts of information, extracting relevant information and conveying findings to stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to engage with partners to understand and anticipate changing needs and requirements, anticipate follow-on questions, and provide comprehensive assessments
